Safety works here at Carlson Masonry and is one of our main priorities. We offer many safety training classes for every employee from scaffold awareness to forklift operation. Our Safety Director/Manager is Antonio Portillo. Antonio has years of experience in planning job safety for each and every project. Antonio has also created a company safety newsletter that goes out every quarter and a "praise program" which recognizes individuals for their safety on a job site and gives them the opportunity to win prizes. Carlson Masonry has the following safety programs in place HAZCOM Program, Safety Program, our own Silica Protection Program and our own Fall Protection Program. Drug and Alcohol free program (pre-employment and random). We also offer quarterly and yearly safety bonuses to foremen who follow safe measures. All of our job site Foremen hold weekly "toolbox" meetings on job sites and complete weekly equipment safety checklists.
